Jed Jones
How It Started
Jed began his musical career at the age of seven. At ten, he played drums in public for the first time, accompanying his father during a jazz performance at a retirement home.
Watch With Mother
As a teenager, Jed became involved in the local York music scene and played in bands such as Watch With Mother, Nurserymen and The Sharp Cuts, as well as working in recording studios.

Bogus Brothers
At the age of 22, he became the drummer for the local band The Bogus Brothers, with whom he performed for 12 years at universities, colleges and festivals across the country. The shows expanded overseas to Ireland and mainland Europe, where the band played major festivals and live music venues. During that period, they could also be seen and heard on radio and television from Russia to Portugal and from the Netherlands to Croatia.
After more than 2,000 performances, Jed left the band to build a new life in the Netherlands. He stopped touring so he could be with his family.

During his time with The Bogus Brothers, Jed wrote a number of songs that stayed on the shelf with the intention of recording and releasing them later. These are the songs he completed together with guitarist Jan Jansen under the name ″JansenJones″ for the album ′Breaking Waves′.
